Got any old wood laying around? It's pretty easy to make a nesting box. If you can get your hands on straw/hay you just put hay in it... or they sell these nesting pads on amazon that supposedly chickens like too.

Cheaper & easier still, turn a 5-gal. bucket on it's side & cradle it so it doesn't roll. Make sure you thoroughly clean & disinfect it before letting hens nest in it.
