It was cooler this time, then before.
Before it was like 105+ and yesterday, when I picked them up, it was only 90.
vet says unwrap that foot bbl
The only thing I could think of, is they had a rougher travel? Or this chick was just weaker to begin with, or maybe even had something wrong with it? I got it eating and drinking and moving around, and then went back up and it was already dead. Something about the way it looked made me think it was going to die. Just a gut feeling... but it pooped normally, and was eating/drinking... so I'm thinking that no matter what I would have done, it probably was going to die anyways. That eliminates the weather.![]()
I would try to contact them, they are even members hereThe only thing I could think of, is they had a rougher travel? I probably won't order through my-pet-chicken again, just because their shipping rates are 2x of cackle hatchery, and they didn't send me any extras to cover if one or two chicks died from the shipping.. which I appreciate. Cackle always sends extras! LOL
