Yes, I have a little cottage there, I've probably fed most of the fish there. Fish some, sometimes just take the pontoon out and cruise around the lake.
Kids took us to Deep Creek Lake, way up in MDs western arm, for our 50th. Largest inpoundment in the state, I think. Anyway, they rented a 21' pontoon boat so son & I could get some fishing in while everyone else was just enjoying the ride. 10 adults, 1 infant, 2 dogs running around (one of which ain't housebroke) is not conducive to fishing! I was afraid my back cast would hook someone, and son was smart enough to leave his tackle in the truck...he drove the boat. The cabin was nice, but the fishing really sucked. I was on fire pit detail & bear watch out back...too danged many people inside.
Yes, that pontoon boat does seem a little crowded to do any fishing.

I "sold" six chickens today: 2 hens I sold. 2 chicks I threw in for free because the little girl was cute and loved them. 2 more hens I sold for a little cash and the promise of hatching eggs in the spring. That's really helping me decrease my numbers.

oh heather I am so sorry about that time in your life,     I just had testing done and also have atrial fibrillation, told me to stop caffeine and other things along with blood thinner.

Thanks. It's been a difficult few years, but we are doing alright. I have my daughter, my chickens, my cats, my dogs, my gander and drake And most important, I've got the Lord.

I have been diagnosed with a-fib now for 8 years (hence the 8 years caffeine-free). I also have lupus, and RA... I suppose it's true that they come in threes. I hope your Afib is under control and managed! I'm on medication and aspirin therapy.
