Ohhhh! I forgot to post this last night, I got my first egg from one of my April hatches yesterday. I'm not sure which one laid it (only 2 were hens), because they are both really red in the comb now.

Anyway, it's the middle lighter brown one. YAY!



(Oh, and let's just ignore the fact that I broke my index fingernail trying to open the coop door that was stuck LOL!)

i love the speckled egg. Which chicken lay the speckled egg?

Sally I checked the link again and the eggs left Harrisburg finally after getting there at 5:32 this morning it's finally left it left from there over an hour ago. So maybe it will be here today.
