He's held accountable... but he is special needs and because of it, I don't know how much he can actually help at times, he wants to do stuff, but has trouble finishing things he starts, remembering directions, but he also gets really offended if your standing there, reminding him every 30 seconds how to "do it right" - so we balance it. He's having to finish the job, even though he wants to come inside, and he won't get to help plant the new stuff, since he decided not to pay attention. I'm a firm believer in natural consequences.

It is. The only thing he really likes are legos and video games/movies.... He has quite the DVD collection, and DS games. LOL

It's okay. I treat him as much like a normal 12 year old as I can. I'm also so used to him being him, that I forget to mention it. My fault.
