83 and cooler for next week. Looks like I can get my pullet shipped soon from Visalia.
Sounds like good timing - and you didn't have to feed it all this time.
I think we had our last 90+ degree day of the year this week.

Wow, so many options! Have fun whatever you decide to do.

There were a lot more but those are the one's I would consider agreeing to.

I noticed there is a Kosher BBQ Cook Off, probably in Benny's honor.

The art fair is ranked as one of the nation’s top fine art fairs. Each year I swear I'm going to start preparing some works for the following year. There's every conceivable type of art but there are never any stone sculptures there. I'd be a hit.

That's what I was thinking. He just emailed me and is shipping this week. :yesss:

That's quite a list of things to see. Me I'm going to be seeing the backside of a mower etc.

The very first piece I ever did under the tutelage of Royal Katiyo and Gedion Nyanhongo of Zimbabwe.
My block of stone duck I left part of the original rough stone to show what I started with.

Here's Gedion's studio.

and Royal's works

Gedion was inspiring, most of his works are huge.
Royal was a perfectionist and a slave driver. I thought I was done and he had me sanding another day and a half. No power tools allowed, just chisels mallets and sandpaper.
They are both great guys.

I wish I was, I haven't finished the repairs on my mower yet.
And it looks like I won't be getting a rooster butchered today. I'll have to do 2 tomorrow.

Well I got some mowed yesterday and moved chickens around to give the broody hen a coop of her own. The one hen in there was laying on top of her disrupting the nest. Rest of day was spent driving to daughters and back. I have a young leghorn rooster to butcher but he will make it till next week maybe.

It seems that I am not the only Jew in the neighborhood!

Lots of Jews here. Every ethnic group that moved here had an enclave. University City (home to several universities) was called U City and affectionately - Jew City because most of them moved there. Now most live in West County. But you still see them going to Synagogues on weekends in UCity.
Probably not an ethnic group that isn't well represented here.

You are quite talented!

They always taught that you have to let the stone tell you what it wants to be. I wanted to make a rabbit but the stone kept telling me it wanted to be a duck so I relented.

My uncle came out to do the wiring today and we tryed it a different way and he wires fried through on the cooling side. But now we just did it the way the diagram in the stc thermostat post. And it works but we can't get it to go to the heat settings to set the temp. It only stays on the cooling so I don't know if it burnt it out or what.
