 You make me wanna fire up the incubators.
do it lol

Wow,  I am new the this group and surprised by how fast it moves.   Keep on Cluckin.
lol, just getting started used to be much faster

Okay, crossing fingers we get a second baby!

Then she won't be all alone.

The silkies will be my daughters house chickens, as promised, since I told her she couldn't have a parrot. (I swear most parrots are evil to everyone but the person they actually like. There's also no guarantee, they'll like the person who wants to like them, either.)

I didn't want tiny little birds, either, because of our cats. But our cats don't chase or harass full sized chickens.

I still need to get a rabbit hutch and design it for their indoor use + easier cleaning of cages.

I want to make them a secure run outside, too, so the free-range chickens don't bug them if they go outside. I just see silkies getting picked on, the ones we have seem super sweet, and fragile, almost... I'm worried they'll get broken by the big meanie heads. LOL

I'm anal about handwashing, and my daughters going through a nose picking phase. She really needs to quit it.
:fl and I also hate nose pickers gross!!

Well, I haven't been to church in a while, so i'm going to take the kids to church. Wish me luck. four kids and me alone. I'll probably come home not remembering my own name. LOL

I teach the 2-5 year old preschool children's church every week. I come home not knowing my name for hours. LOL

Well only 3 lived my cat got a hold of the other 4
One of them has curled toes and one of them has splayed legs but the last one is doing good

@ChickenCanoe Yes, I know I am. Set on saturday, best hatches occur on Sunday. I was running 100 calibrated for the circulated air hatches, except for some strange drops at about days 4-14, with more 'n enough vents, and 30% humidity.
