It's like a hot dog but bigger and very thin, with melted American cheese , I like it on rye but only had whole grain lol
My kids eat it. But... i've never had it. I'm not really a fan of processed meats. My kids eat cold hot dogs straight out of the fridge. They eat the weirdest things. LOL

That's why I'm not sure if it being fried, might actually make it edible, or if I think i'm still grossed out by the fact that it's a bologna sandwhich. haha!

You will! It is just changing your set of mind!
There is no logic in the fact of growing roos, then give them away and then going to the market to buy a chicken for supper. .....
I find that I feel worse today about it, than I did yesterday. I also took the least pretty roos to process yesterday, leaving the prettier ones for later. I don't think I can process the silkies. I'm perfectly happy plucking and letting someone else do the rest. I'm in NO hurry to do things by myself.

She will get there. It took me a while to be able to do it. For me, I was able to "get there" when I raised BBW turkeys. I knew that they had to be butchered, and never thought of them as anything but food.
I actually did it myself only because I no longer had a husband around to do it for me. I would have learned eventually, but that certainly put a rush on things!
Processing the roosters myself was a problem only because they were so darn beautiful. I didn't look at the feathering, and talked to my teacher the whole time.
I think turkeys would be worse in some ways....WAY more blood, but I suppose they would be more roomy moving around inside. I don't think I'll ever raise turkeys though.

This guy!
How ADORABLE!!!!

Benny, I'm so sorry to hear about your FIL. My thoughts are with you, your wife and your family.

Phil, sorry about the ducks. Tough lesson to learn. I hope the injured ones heal fast.

I grew up with fried bologna sandwiches!!!

Here is my pup (on the right) playing with my tenant's dog. Their dog is a mix, and it looks like it is part great dane. It's only 6 months old and already bigger than my Akita/Lab.

For you dax
I use cup, you can use what measure you want
4 parts ( cups) of crushed oats, not the instant ones!
1 part crushed almonds
1 part walnuts

4-5 cut dates
0.5 cup shredded coconut

Sugar, honey, maple, Agave syrup, as you want.
0.5 cup of canola, sunflower, corn, oil.
You mix all the dry ingredients EXCEPT THE RESINS AND BERRIES!!
add the cinamon, salt sugsr, and mix.
Add the oil and mix good.
Put on baking try, one or 2, enter to preheated oven on 180 C
After 5 minutes mix good the granolla. Do this any 5 minutes for 15- 20 .
Add the berries and resins mix and enter for anoter 10 minutes dont forget to mix every 5 minutes
The time culd change in different ovens, so you should alwayes taste an adjust according the tast.
Thanks. I appreciate it. I have a question though. What is dried crewmember?

I have a question about shipped eggs. I'm on day 19 and they are in lockdown. Trying to get the humidity up any suggestions? I have cups and bowls of water on empty shelves with water and it's not doing much. I also wanted to know if the eggs should be taken out of the cut up egg cartons and put horizontally or leave them in the cartons?
no idea sorry!
