Good thanks, and you? Yoe were MIA lately
I'm good. I wasn't MIA, I knew exactly where I was at all times.
Winter is coming! Yessssss!
Winter is indeed coming but these were thunderstorms.
For us thunder storm IS winter MIA is not for the missing person but for others.
What if you have a freak storm in the Spring? Does it automatically revert to Winter?
We never have storm, frick or normal in spring and summer if we have somthing is 5 minutes of drizzle onec a decade.
So how do plants get enough moisture to sustain themselves? Surely the rains in Winter aren't enough to last them all year.
So the gov't allows sprinkler systems, yet you can't collect rain water off your roof!
In the last 6 years we became independent ( at least for industry and home use) on ouer water supply. Mor then 60% of ouer water comes from desalination.

Random that I forgot to share yesterday.

We were at church yesterday, between Sunday School and the morning service, and a bunch of kids came running to me and said, "Come quick Ms. Heather, we need your help! There's an emergency outside!" So I of course run with them, thinking something is seriously wrong with someone, and they keep running, me following... there was a chicken in the back of the church yard. LOL! "Ms. Heather you have to save it!" So, I caught the chicken (which was completely fine), and found it's home, on the other side of the church yard there is a community garden with a chicken coop and ducks, and bees. Put it up and went back to teach my class during the service. After church, the kids came running to me again, for a second chicken "emergency". I sent my daughter that time, she caught two more chickens and put them up. Then we investigated and found that something had dug a big hole and the chickens were getting out of that hole. Anyway, official crazy chicken lady at church now too!

Snowball is back out side this morning.
She is doing much better. I think she will be okay...... Probably always limp..... But heck so do I half the time anyways. She seems real happy to be back with her other ducks.
