I switched from baby pools to these below, I realized you really do not need to waste so much water with ducks, they really dont need a lot of room, if you noticed with mating the females barely swim as much anymore because thats when the males keep harassing them, its the area you have their water area on that is important, anotherwords, either stones or pallet with indoor outdoor carpeting on keeps the water much cleaner and free of that muddy mess. And having it on a hill and ability to dump the contents AWAY from the run so the run keeps dry as possible....

dont start leaving food outside at night

Speaking of leaving food outside at night... I have had my coop open for 3 weeks now, nighttime included as I have been unable to reach my crazy chickens at bedtime. They are just outside all the time now. This morning, I walked up to add food to the feeder and out popped a chipmunk! Scared me half silly!

True that. Last year a possum walked up behind me about 4 in the morning when I was outside checking food/waterers.... now THAT did nearly scare me half to death!

Once upon a time...
Nightmares have been plaguing me for about a week. I'm a nervous wreck. Not to mention, very tired!
Duckling primarily poops in the potty. She also has apparently hit the Terrible Twos. Her father didn't come to pick her up like he was supposed to, and she was heartbroken. So was I!
A fly was in my coffee pot yesterday morning, and drank itself to death. I was glad that I saw it, and that Westley has a single serve side too.
I went to TSC during their 15% off sale. The total sounded low, but I didn't hold up the line asking about it. I dismissed it as not knowing the price of the feed to begin with (I don't pay attention since I need it and will buy it anyway). I now have four free bags of feed.
Duckling has four Tetras. They made it through the night.
My female Muscovy is missing.
