I'm thinking I need to move the water out of the coop or switch to a nipple bucket for the chickens and let the ducks use the pond. Wasn't sure if I should then move the food outside as well.

I have nipple water systems in most buildings but other than that, I have water available outside to all flocks.
The nipple systems can be a challenge when drips wet bedding.
I use bulk feeders inside, mostly so birds can eat as soon as they wake and to limit the amount stolen by wild birds.
I do feed fermented at least half the year but that is usually outside.
My birds were going through so little food this summer that I stopped fermenting. I'll probably start again now that the chicks are eating more.

Speaking of leaving food outside at night... I have had my coop open for 3 weeks now, nighttime included as I have been unable to reach my crazy chickens at bedtime. They are just outside all the time now. This morning, I walked up to add food to the feeder and out popped a chipmunk! Scared me half silly!

Prayers your birds survive as 24/7 outsiders.
You probably need a baby monitor so you can rush out when they're in trouble.

The Farm & Home store across from TSC carries an all flock pellet that most of my birds get currently. Sometimes TSC has it too.

The one I'm currently feeding is 18% but I've seen a 20% there before.

I used to get all my feed in our local co-op that I hope to get started again. The variety available was amazing. My flock numbers were down for the last 7 months so there was no need.
Prices were similar to the Farm&Home but as good as their variety is, the co-op was better.
They had a 18% short pellet that was good for chickens and waterfowl. Starter was available in 18, 20, 24, 27 and a 15% finisher.
Layer was 16 or 20, the latter was intended to be coupled with scratch grains. They also had a 17% breeder feed.
They had a complete line of organic and soy free feeds and fish meal and porcine/bone meal.
The organic feeds were coarsely ground so worked very well for fermenting.
Eventually, I avoided all the other feeds and only bought 16% organic grower that I fermented. When I needed to up the protein for chicks, I could mix the grower with fish meal at a 10:1 ratio which yielded a 20% protein.
