Good evening I'm currently laying next to my brooder watching my babies.

No I haven't, still a bit of a newbie to all this forum stuff haha

I know that I shouldn't pull on it, I've just been putting oil here and there, and wiping it with a warm tissue.

Needing some help, Last of my 5 chicks hatched today, biggest egg, pretty strong too, but hatched on 23rd day.

However

It hatched with this little hard bit in its bottom, I've put some oil around it to try and help it along, but I would love some advice, kinda urgent cuz it's like. It's the little thing's butt haha.

Unabsorbed yolk sac. Keep it clean and put iodine on it. Let me go see if I can find a link for you.

Good morning, Everybody I'm so glad it is Friday because I am exhausted. Of course I have to dig out the water line, but at least I can stay in bed till six before I start.

Ooh okay. That one hatched last and funny, I think it's called a saddleback something? I had to keep its siblings inside with it, and they pecked at it's shell a fair bit basically helping it along. But it hatched eventually (took forever)

I'll put some of that on it ASAP

Will do! The sac is very, very small.
And even though it's the last one to the brooder, it's a bossy little thing and is doing most of the pecking hehe.
