I had a similar injury and surgery.

What did they do and how did it go???

It started out as a broken wrist that they pinned. Then the pin got infected and popped out like an abcess. That healed, but PT was quite painful, so did MRI and saw tear. Don't remember exactly what the surgery was, but it did fix the problem.

i'm worried because its not ligament, tendon or bone-its cartilage so harder to heal or repair if they even can, my job can be very physically demanding sometimes and if I dont get 100% strength, grasp and motion back, it could be dangerous for me and the patients. i am looking at a 6-8 week cast or surgery and at least several months of Pt/OT.

Do you have an insurance for this situation?
