I find those tables valuable, Thanks.

Did you adequately thank CJ for covering your shipping?
Is your incubator ready?
Are you going to breed them or mix them up as backyard mutts?

Good job on the recap.

I know you didn't say it but, regardless of size, NZ has much better rugby, scenery and skiing than AU.
yes everything thing is ready and I was going to keep them separate to have pure breed.but now everyone on the game says I shouldn't get them

Sooooo sweet!!!

Paddler,

I am extremely happy I got rid of what I had to be honest. Glad the legbar, brahma, wellsumers etc are gone.  I did keep the broody brahma that raised the chicks though.  I figured she may come in handy now and she is quite the protective mother.

Mikes Icelandics that are growing out are amazing looking, love the looks, the flightiness doesnt bother me, as I dont make friends anyways, and its best for them to be cautious here when free ranging.  the polish and serama are the kiddos,  I kept the Marans so I had some cool layers.  I just wish I could find some good quality like these that also lay a very very dark egg.  I havent dwelled on it, after the crap I have to go through during the winter perhaps comespring I can search for some to add. Sara did bring me a pair of crele lemon orpingtons, they are where the ducks used to be for now.  separated from everyone else.  Not sure what to do with them, they are kinda cool but pretty young yet.   So you can see I really really cut back the chicken population here. its so quiet too.  unless I walk out and the goose and goats catch sight or hear me.

Why you could have stuck on egg under each serama that's probably all they could fit ;)

Well that took all morning off and on. Caught up from the weekend. Other than the addition of some new names based on the weekend chatter doesn't seem as though much has changed around these parts. Never know when you leave for a few months what you will find when you get back.

When my in laws moved in it was supposed to be so that we could take care of them. Well it turned out more the other way.

I owe her alot, she is there for me to watch kids and do anything all the times I am sick, these past years have been hell I cant imagine her not being around. I hope I can pay it back some time.

I so wish I still had my mom.

Oh, one last post, I was able to go to the local feed store, that had been closed on sundays and they had a 30% protien poultry "chow" of some non descript brand i'd never heard of... but the contents looked right, and it was for poultry/turkeys.

AND it wasn't expired. :p

So, I'll use that until the turkeys are about 10 weeks and can eat an all flock feed.
