Has it pooped? -Kathy
So after I moved it to its own box, I went to work. It passed sometime during the day. Woke up at 2:30am(4am now) and saw on my webcam another chick hatched, should be a pheasant (forgot to label and got Serama after), went to check on it...it fell between the floor and wall of incubator and drown... ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME! I am having bad luck. Have put enough cabinet grip sheet stuff(don't know official name of it) to cover wall to wall now...so PO'd about that. Chick was perfect too. Moved my 25 Araucana, 2 Swedish Flower, and 2 Cream Crested Legbar eggs in there to join the remaining small egg(looks like I have 2 surviving Serama) for their lock down now. Of course now all of my thermometers can't agree on temp, or humidity and I am worried I'm going to cook them... I have 2 Farm Inovators red alcohol type, 1 terrarium w/hygrometer type, and a digital read out.... Ranging from 110-90!? They all agreed before I put this matting down, but I also had the thing open and still on for a quite a few minutes due to cleaning then transferring eggs, marking final cells, etc... Hopefully just residual element heat...
he's a lynx point siamese. I actually have 2 of them, and then a siamese girl cat.
I'm also an owner and fan of the Lynx Points... Got 2, and some Mix with blue eyes, I suspect snowshoe... All boys QUOTE]
And this is hooked up directly to the ethernet cable. guess that rules out the router. Ehhh I'm not a fan of slow internet.
I see you have U-Verse. I am actually a U-Verse technician. If you'd like tests done on your acct to be sure your service is good, I could do that for you. From what I can see from your test, usually you do not get almost exact same result on wifi and Ethernet. There is usually a different, and your upload speed it low, should be at least .6 or .7 ... That test is a flash player or Java player based application, so be sure to go to the Adobe Website to download and install the latest flash player, and I also like to download Sun's Java player myself. Make sure to uncheck the extras they both try to install(Google related garbage on flash, Amazon garbage on Java)... Check again.

Flintlock? I never could get used to having that flash and smoke so close to my face. Statewide Archery starts here on Saturday, although some areas started two weeks ago.

We actually have very limited restrictions on what is considered a muzzleloader. I use mid 70's model percussion cap that was handed down from my Uncle. Even the new centerlines that are basically a bolt action and capable of a 350 yard shot qualify. Our rifle season also last almost 3 months. A lot of deer even though the yotes are reducing numbers.

:frow Good luck with your broody.

Evening. How are the chicks?

Chicks are all doing very well, Had one with a bit of a pasty bum, but I washed it all up so hopefully it will be fine.

I'm guessing that I might have two Roos and three hens though out of all of them or maybe the other way around?

Don't know whether their breed is sex linked, but there are two that have a nice even amount of black in their little wings, and the other three's wings are almost pure cream colour. Thoughts?

Hey y'all! I haven't been on in forever! Are we still discussing hatching here? I've got a broody on 9 eggs. Was 10 but she pushed one out. It was a quitter.

We're on day 18 so I just candled. We have 8 definite live chicks! Could even see them moving. Yay yay yay! The 9th one looks like a blood ring. Was going to make certain first. Brownie is an odd hen. I'm not sure of her breed. But so far, she's an excellent mama. I'm grateful for that. Hope everyone is doing well.
A special hello to Ms. Sally Sunshine!

I hunted with a percussion cap before. That was fun. I think our early muzzleloader season inlines and percussion cap are legal, I think the late muzzleloader is flintlock only. Archery season last about 6 weeks and rifle season lasts about 2 weeks.

In my expert opinion...........actually I know little to nothing about chicken genetics and coloring.

You could put a legband on the two you think are cockerels and see if you were right when they grow up.
