O.o Turkey bacon is awesome.

I can't stand turkey bacon or ground up. Then again, I didn't eat much turkey until I butchered my own. Even on Thanksgiving I usually just ate vegetables. I didn't like potatoes either. Still don't love potatoes, but I've gotten used to eating them.

my mother in law's mom is celebrating 100 this month ;o she's still alive though... I'm sorry you lost your grandma.

Your "october" sounds like our april.

We have 3 birthdays, and a wedding anniv.
Our July is sort of like that too my lol girl is the only one of my kids out there.. It's in January but my MIL and hubs niece are in January also

haha! We eat turkey whenever we can get our hands on it, used it sliced for sandwiches, and we routinely have baked potatoes here, for dinner, with bacon sprinkles on them! LOL

I'm not a fan of fish, unless it's halibut or salmon. And I'm really picky on what kind of cuts of meat I'll eat. I'm a steak snob. I don't like sirloins, I find them too hard to chew. LOL I prefer rib eyes, or filet mignons.

I try to force myself to eat whatever it is we cook at home, to set a good example for my kids, but when we go out, I splurge and get stuff I actually like to eat.

I'm also anti-most veggies. I like carrots, peas, broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, and that's about it. I do like spinach in salads, but i'm not a fan of it cooked, the texture makes it slimy.

I have a lot of food aversions though.

My mother and law and I were talking the other day, about how different "store" food is now, compared to when she was younger. She said that chicken breasts and other meats, were NEVER the size or amount that they are now. She said that (while she's not a fan of our birds, she's supported our habit of having them) because she thinks eating food that hasn't been bred to be super-sized with growth hormones and poor breeding is probably healthier.

What's funny, is my youngest daughter was due on my husbands birthday. It goes, 19, 21, 22. (2 birthday's and a wedding anniv on the 22nd.) and my daughter was due on the 21. I was joking she should come on the 20th... but i'm really glad she decided to come on the 6th instead. haha, gave me a break for a couple weeks from birthdays.

My oldest daughter's birthday is dec 5th, and we are celebrating it over Halloween this year, so people will stop doing "birthday/christmas" presents for her. It's not really fair that all the other kids get their own day, and she gets a combined.

My husband always combines mothers day, my birthday and our anniv together, since it's sort of in a 3 month span.... granted, he tends to buy "bigger" presents (like a car, a horse, etc.) but.. I'd still like to celebrate each time individually! LOL

moved the 911 baby into the isolation end of the pen, the 2 labor days are checking it out,
