I will be purchasing an incubator soon.....as i caught the hatching itch. Plus, we wanted some meat birds to raise so i figure cockerels hatched go to a new pen to get fed like kings.
I have been in the chicken business one year next month. None of my girls are broody and we cant be self sufficient if i have to keep buying frankenchicken at the store!
But what do i need to know? Any brand you suggest (or want to warn me about?) Any tips from the old hats?
