Glad you could join the flock! When they have just hatched they are fine to stay in the incubator for 24 hours to dry off and fluff up.

Once hatch is done and they are dry they can be moved to a brooder that has heat to keep them warm, food and water.

Please offer them water only from a shallow dish, with some marbles or clean pebbles in it - to prevent drowning. Babies are not steady on their feet and also fall asleep in the blink of an eye. - sometimes falling head first into water or feed dishes.

For the first few days cover any litter or pine shavings with towel paper to keep the chicks from eating it. Once they know where their feed is, you can remove the towel paper.
