Hi folks.
My incubator humidity is at 60% without water.
Is it ok to leave the incubators top lid slighty open to reduce the humidity? In mine case i dont affect the temp. What do you guys think?

if you have space try getting a container of rice inside. With heat you run the risk of deforming your incu. if you run it without it closed right. If the rice doesn't work, you can give it a try.

So just dry white rice?
And do i have to change it after few days?

I would also suspect a faulty hygrometer. Unless you live in the rain forest! lol

I also would not leave it propped open. Vents should be open, but I'd keep the lid closed. Did you just wash it? What kind of incubator? Do you already have eggs in it, and what day are they on?

The article that @muddy75 was referring to is the Red link in my signature block.
