Incubating...

Hi! So my incubator is REALLY small! And I had 11 eggs, but one didnt fit. And like any other, I didnt want to get rid of that small egg. So I created a small incubator for this little egg, but not really sure if it'll work. What I did was made a little nest from fabric for the little egg to sit in with thermal blankets you find in the first aid kit on the bottom so it could keep heat in. Then I have these hot towels in ziploc back on top of the egg to provide it heat. The temp of the bag is 38 degrees celcius with the egg 37 degrees celcius. And at night Just wanted to know your opinion on this and what I can do to improve it.

Hopefully it hatches! Update us on the little eggs. I think that the temp is good... do you have any quail? What species of quail (btw)?

Perhaps try adding a hygrometer, so you can monitor the humidity. Also, just curious, do you know what species of quail these are?

Actually this is my first batch of Quails! The one I am currently trying to hatch are Falb Fees and Golden Layers. But I might get some Chukars.
