thankyou so much. The dark area is so clear. I wonder if I need a better candler light or if the eggs are bad.So here are my 10 day eggs for a comparison:
When I took a video there is a lot of movement. I just did these this morning. It is going to look less clear for eggs that have pigment, mine are polish eggs and have the advantage of being white. View attachment 2376550View attachment 2376551

Mine is a Brinsea OvaView for reference.thankyou so much. The dark area is so clear. I wonder if I need a better candler light or if the eggs are bad.
I think I can see some dark areas / blood tracks in some. Shall I film a rotation on the Candler?I think the thing I notice is there are no blood vessels. If you rotate the egg can you see clear blood vessel tracks? If you look at the first pic I posted you can see tracks for the vascular system. The other thing is if I rotate mine I have a clear side, the embryo is on one side of the egg. If it uniform the whole way I would be very concerned about that egg. I of course defer to the very experienced on here, they have helped me sooo much so far.
I think that would be super helpful for everyone. The number of people on here willing to help always surprises me and the more info you can give the more they can helpI think I can see some dark areas / blood tracks in some. Shall I film a rotation on the Candler?
.I thought it was point down hahahaaOh, I also candle my eggs with the pointy part down, not the large part. I don't know if it is better, but I read that is how you should candle, maybe someone who posts later can address that. I don't remember if I ever found a reason for it.
LOL, maybe it was and it was the lighting! Some eggs it's really hard to tell. We have a Delaware that lays eggs that are exactly oval! I would be super hard to incubate hersI thought it was point down hahahaa
