which end of the egg goes up and what temps do they need to be? i just want to know what all i need to do to get started! any help will be app.

Pointy end down, blunt end up, 99.5 for a fan assisted incubator and 100 for a still air. ^_^ Humidity I keep at 45-50% until I bring it up to 65% at lockdown.

thanks so much

I agree except that I keep my humidity around 35% to 40%. I used to keep it around 50% but my hatches have been much better if I keep the humidity around 35% to 40% during incubation and raise it when I take the eggs out of the turner on day 18 and set the eggs for hatching to around 70%. I have around 80% to 100% hatch rate. This is just my opinion. It's what works for me.

Humidity mileage varies where you live usually, if it is very humid I keep mine as low as cmom, but I usually have the incubator in a very dry room and the 45% works perfect for me.
