Incubation confusion

I was given a farm innovators 4200 incubator and I'm not sure what way the eggs go in the turner. I've tried pointed end down but I'm not sure if it turned them. This is my first time using an incubator. Is this the right have to have them?

I'm not sure how those turners work, maybe someone who has one will chime in. But yes, the pointed end goes down in the holes.

I have one and it is pointy end down. They rotate very very slowly. It takes several hours from one side to the other. If you are unsure if that particular unit is working check it once an hour to see which way it's leaning. Within 8 hours you should see a definite change.

I believe it takes one hour to tilt one direction and come back up and another hour to tilt in the opposite direction and come back up.
