My eggs were fine on lockdown day, now its day 23 and yes I candled a couple and no movement I can see.. I'm hearing nothing and no piping. What should I do ? Should I try to help one out or not. I'm may be just going nuts waiting. None stink . I seen a foot through egg but no movement there either. I see some veins but not as much. What to do?? Help

Are you positive you're on 23? If so, you may need to assist in hatching.
I put them in my incubator on Jan 21 late at night. So maybe I'm just off . Lol I'm not seeing any movement. My air sacks are a smudge bigger than when I locked down late night on the 8th. But this morning I did put them in warm water and they float but no movement.

Ok it will be 22 days tonite. Am I still good or do I need to start assisting with one and see. Idk I'm freaking out.

If you set them the evening of the 1/21, their hatch date would start the evening of 2/11 (last night). They are technically still on time to hatch. You're not going to see much movement in the eggs since they are so full now. Can you hear anything when you put them to your ear (scratching sounds)?

No nothing that I can hear I even tried to tap but no sound

I would hang tight. No need to assist quite yet.
Oh thank you so much. This is my first hatching myself but I do have two white silkies and one black one I purchased but those still babies or I'd use them to hatch. Guess I'm acting like there mother and don't wanna see my chicks dye before born... what day would you think I'll need to assist if necessary.

I know the feeling. I've hatched maybe a dozen times and I'm still a wreck on hatching day! I'm not sure when most people assist, but for me I'd wait until it's been at least 24 hours past the hatch date. Let me see if I can find the thread on that.
