42°C = 107.6°F = dead eggs.

Sorry.

:hugs

I'm not sure what season you're in, but next time put the incubator in a place where the temp doesn't fluctuate like a room in your house. When I put my incubator in a place that's too cold or hot, it makes the incubator overheat. Mine works best in the house in a stable temp room.

I'm sorry that your eggs are most likely dead

I had the exact same thing happen on my first hatch of quail eggs. Probe fell into the water under the turner and read 86 degrees F. Heater tried catching up and reached around the 107-110 mark(For how long, I don't know). Only 9 hatched out of 42 and 6 survived past a day or 2.

Since my first post I have been at work and haven't had a chance to dump my eggs but when I went there this morning there was two chicks in there but no sign of life from the others so for some reason 22cooked and 2 survived
2 is better than none. Congrats on getting those 2. I'm glad you didn't lose them all!
