Im new to hatching eggs. I bought a hova-bator 1602N and it came with a themometer and i also bought a digital one with a hygrometer. I set the digital one on the inside wall and let it stabilize for two days before adding eggs. I thought I had the world. I added 14 eggs and I sat the thermomter that came with the incubator on top of the eggs and basically ignored it and I was going by the digital one. Ive had the eggs in for about 5 days now and finally clued in that the two temps were different. I am not sure which one to should go by. the one at the top of the eggs or the one on the side of the incubator. At times the NON digital one was reading 110 degrees Im sure I cooked my eggs but all advice and comments would be greatly appreciated.
