I am attempting to hatch some duck eggs. I have the temp set at 99.5F but the humidity is around 77. Is this way to high? Should I remove the water and see what it goes down to? Any help would be very appreciated!

That is way too high. You want it much lower. For me I'd need it to be around 30%. Your area may be different. I would recommend starting at maybe 40 to 50% and watching the air cells and adjusting as needed.

What if it is higher than 50% with no water in the incubator?

Are you in a humid location? If so that's a possibility. In that case you may want to run an air conditioner or dehumidifier in the incubator's room to try to bring that down.

I live in NC lol not sure about if it's humid here

I just looked. As of right now we are at 91% revelation humidity outside

I had a blonde moment lol. I read the humidity wrong on the unit. It actually reads 40%
