I just bought the Brinsea Eco 20 and have a question. I bought it with the autoturn cradle and if I put on set of eggs in there and the a few weeks down the road put more in, then how would I turn the second batch once the first batch goes into lockdown. Hope this makes sense!
Thanks

id like to know , if you could go 2-3 days with out turning those eggs that were set later without harming them

Sometimes, it is preferred to not turn the first few days to allow the eggs to "rest"...

I would just store the eggs until the first ones hatch though.

I was thinking about storing them, but I've read that you can only store the eggs for 7 days.

I have a staggered hatch in right now. Lockdown was supposed to be yesterday, however, I waited until the first pip to remove it from the turner. It is not going to do any damage for them to not turn for a day or so, especially early in the incubation process. My chickens eggs are on day 4 now and not on the turner waiting for the ducks to hatch.

Stagger your eggs so one is hatching early in the incubation process for the next hatch.

So to make sure I comprehended that right. I should wait until late in the incubation period of the 1st batch then put the 2nd batch in?

Yes. The very early stages and very late stages of incubation tend to be affected less by changes from the ordinary routine for hatching.
