Incubation progress of Muscovy eggs

The cute hallmark pics (which show nothing, lol!)

To get pics inside the shell I'll have to lay him flat, is that ok? When I last looked (3ish hours ago) I could see veins as the back of the shell that looked thicker and bright red (where he'd pipped there was very, very thin veining in some spots, mostly none) and I thought I saw a yolk sac.
And you can't get him in an upright position? If not then do this, place the smaller end of that shell up as close as you can to the side of the bator. We need pressure the bottom of that shell. is he making any noise? Is that paper towel wet?

No, I can't, he just goes horizontal. The paper towels are to prop him upright. They were damp but they feel dry now. He does chirp occasionally, usually if the bator gets bumped or I tap on the side.

well I wouldn't wet the paper towels, and I would try to get him higher so that his weight goes to the bottom of the shell. he needs pressure down there.
