I need you you pull her back out have a qtip and warm water ready, dip the qtip and then squeeze the water out, I need you to rub her oops him. Oops ducky beak, clear ducks nostrils just rub ducky beak back and forth, clear around and under the beak. Show me a pic of the qtip when you done, once you finish that use the other end and wet that membrane again, and put ducky back in for two hours. Yes he's got some finishing to do,...

Be sure to get in the nostril holes...

DONE! Pictures coming, Lori.

Here you go (Sorry for the delay - I was in the kitchen shredding carrots to give to the chickens and ducks, since with ALL THIS DARN SNOW there is nothing "vegetable-ish" for them to eat outside! The Q-tip was yellowish after I cleaned him, but there was no real "goo" to speak of... Photos below:

I already see less veining, or is that my imagination?

Not your imagination - unless my eyesight is THAT bad! I thought so, too.

I am going to head out and feed the chickens/ducks and give them clean water. We had a footish of snow here on Thursday, and it's snowing again now and we are expecting another 2-6, so I am trying to keep the chickens and ducks happy, warm, full, and entertained! BACK IN A FEW!

I will need you to do this each time, that yellow stuff is gooy stuff, gooy meaning to much water causing stickiness, we have another case of stickiness, but this time we will NOT LOSE HIM, OOPS, DUCKY..

It will be interesting to see if this one has it's head over or under it's wing... Based on the pictures, my best guess is over wing.
