Incubation progress of Muscovy eggs

Seven will still need to be opened.. If seven has a blood clot then we need to act quickly, that tells me he maybe in a wrong position and busted his vein.

I don't mean to sound insensitive, but was it positioned correctly and did it absorb it's yolk?

I suspect that anything past day 35 is going to be shrink-wrapped and possibly malpositioned.

Well yes and no, we have a sticky issue, it's been our problem since the first duck, so hopefully by lowering that humidity we have help the others loose some of that water, malposition is probably another issue but we are to late in the game to correct it..

I think six had other problems so far he's the one who made the least progress. He never internally pipped and never improved or as I like to say blow up. We need to really concentrate on number seven, he's in jeopardy..

I think she's trying to get a pic of six, I hope so!!!

MAJOR camera issues right now. Trying to get photos uploaded - working on it as best I can.

Made a safe hole for 7. Do you think we should for 8? I am thinking yes, and MAYBE even 9.... What does everyone think?

Of course, we still have issues with the humidity. Currently 50% - trying to raise!

As soon as I can get the photos up, I can let everyone take a look at Skippy's bottom (and her CUTE little face!).

Brooder is ready to go when she is...am I correct in remembering we want the brooder temp at 92?

THANK YOU everyone for all your help, and condolences on 6.

I agree that #7 needs help, but knowing what happened to #6 could be useful. I'd be willing to bet that he is malpostioned and shrink-wrapped and that's why he couldn't pip internally. If @AnimalQuackers knows this she might be able to see similarities in others as their hatch dates approach.

I keep mine at 95 and each week it gets lowered by five degrees until it reaches the same temp as outside.
