Incubation question

Hi! My incubator says the small and the egg should point toward the center. My question is, if that rotates around and points outward is it better to open the lid and turn it back the correct way or leave them and hope it turns itself around? Also, how likely is it that the check will get shrink wrapped if I open the lid? I had to open the lid quite a few times to absorb water and I was trying the eggs as mentioned above. Thanks!

Your eggs won't shrink wrap unless you leave the lid off for like 10 minutes during this last few days.

It doesn’t matter which way the point is oriented. I place my eggs with the point towards the center of the incubator. Mine switch ends, with almost every rotation in my incubators. It is more important that they are being turned.
