How llong should I let my incubator run, and maintain proper temperature before putting the eggs in?

I usually let mine run for a day to make sure the temp and humidity are stable.

Let it run until you have all the kinks ironed out and you are familiar with all the adjustments. It needs to maintain a steady temp for at least 24 hours just to be on the safe side.

And remember that when you put your eggs in, the temps and humidity are going to go down for a few hours adjusting to the eggs being put in but will return to normal......
