Incubation Question

I have 1 single egg that is due to hatch on on the Fourth of July! (can anyone else think of a better day to hatch?!!?) Ive been looking at differant candling pics and he/she is right on schedule, but in some videos they move. Mine hasnt moved when i candle it. Is it still okay?

Most of the time you won't catch them moving. As long as its right on schedule I think it will be fine. Be sure the humidity is at least 65% on hatch day.

I have never hatched with an incubator but the mama silkie hen has gave me a lot of little chicks. She is on 12 eggs now due july 6th

Aww! I want to get a pair (or 2

) of silkies. I think that will be my last purchase til Chick Fever hits next spring..lol
