incubation question

renee is so smart!

Absolutely!

Everyone I've given or for that matter, that anyone has given this link too has had very good hatches.

I used to have to mess with the humidity and stressed and now, I set and follow this sheet. I got 12 out of 15 eggs last weekend and I have 70 more waiting to go into lockdown and various times and about 70 more to set. I've gotten great hatches unless the eggs were so damaged in transit that they wouldn't have hatched anyway.

I started doing the "dry incubation" last year. I've had far fewer babies needing help since I did. Plus with the 1588, (I feel like an infomercial every time I say this) I set it and forget it. No fretting or worrying and my chicks are out by 20-21 days. If' it's not out on day 21, it's not getting out on it's own if at all.

I think we have a tendency to over think these things.

Like I tell everyone.

My first hatch I was 12. I put 3 eggs in a shoe box, on cotton balls and used the table lamp on my nighstand. I hatched 2 out of 3.

When things started looking complicated and my hatches were getting worse, not better, I had to stop and ask why.

Renee was tired of my bad hatches and gave me her sheet and I have many too many chicks right now. LOL

Time for a CL ad. Oh I have one of those. LOL
