Incubation question?

Today is day 5 of chicken incubation. The chick was developing as it should be. But today (day 5) I noticed I couldn't see the chick and the yolk seems to be somewhat seperated. Is the chicken still alive? What should I do with the chicks

Day 5 is early for candling. I do it occasionally, and usually end up freaking myself out. I'd leave it to cook until day 7 at least. Day 10 if the eggs are hard to see thru. At that point you should see a clear change. If not, something happened and it needs to be removed from the incubator. Good luck!
