Hmmm, yes, Maybe I should get a new thermometer this year.

And calibrate it in ice water and boiling water adjusted for your altitude.

Just make sure its one you can calibrate. I got some cheap ($10) digital ones with no probe, well guess what you cant dunk the thing in water so its impossible to calibrate.

Any thing will work. Govees are cool, but they aren't not necessary. Little digital ones from Wal-Mart are ok, but any thermometer needs to be calibrated.

ok, bought 2 thermometers and a hygrometer. calibrated the thermometers too.
do I calibrate the hygrometer?

also, right now it’s saying 48 for humidity and the incubator is dry. should I add water and raise it? @MGG ?

I’ll be adding the eggs in the am!

Yes you have to calibrate the hygrometer
