The lady I bought fertile hatching eggs from made sure to emphasize that I should stop turning them 1 week before hatching. These are mixed breed ducks
I'm guessing a 28 day incubation. This is my first time incubating duck eggs, after a couple years hatching chicks, and I've been following the guidelines off the Metzer Farms website. That says stop turning day 26.

I'm wondering if anyone else stops turning day 21? Or if this was a bad bit of advice?

Thanks! Pic from day 12.

What kind of duck are you hatching? Stop turning three days before hatch.
This is what she said she has: Khaki, Mallard, Rouen, Buff, Swedish, and mixes. The ducklings could be a mix of any of these.

I'm guessing a 28 day incubation. Your advice to stop turning at day 26 is inline with the Metzer Farms guide.

I accidentally lost track of when my ducks were due and I quit turning them last week! They are due tomorrow, I'm so nervous they aren't going to hatch
