Just wondering why everyone in my area seems to not be incubating eggs in the hot month of August. Most seem to slow down incubation in the hot months. Is this normal and why? New to chicken farming and still learning. Thanks

i stopped doing fall hatches because the chicks seem to do better in the spring. they are not grown enough to handle a rough winter when you hatch at this time. the overall quality and health is better in the spring hatches
