I am new here so please excuse my ignorance...
I built an incubator out of a tote using a light bulb, dimmer switch, and a computer fan to circulate the air. I went out to Home Depot and purchased a digital thermometer with humitiy gauge but was not confident with its accuracy so I purchased another digital thermometer from petssmart. I can keep a contstant temp in the bater but the two thermometers differ. The one from Home Depot reads 102 deg and the one from pets smart reads 99.4 deg.
I guess my question is how accurate do I have to be temperature wise? Should I split the difference?
Thanks,
Eric
