I think I have a disease - it lasts for 21 days, gets progressively worse after about 18 days and then severely affects my ability to function for the last three days!!

I'm curious if anyone else has this affliction???

My husband thinks I am crazy - he jokes that I have developed obsessive compulsive disorder.

After two failed hatches due to eggs I felt were damaged in shipment combined with my novice stupidity/mistakes, I am on day 20 of my third attempt - and holding my breath for tomorrow!!

Is there a cure?????
Wish me luck!!!

I'm afraid it's a lifelong condition. I had to start planning for hatches on the weekends or work is torture. I had a little slip last night. New incubator so I think added paranoia is normal--but I'm doing pretty good. I only stared at the incubator for probably 30 mintues--hour tops! Except now I'm at work and chatting about my eggs that are beginning to hatch....

I'm competely normal.

It could be worse we could have a different more serious condition. Or at least that is what I tell my husband!!!!

I am really trying to avoid the incubator this sesason. I remember the stress and anxiety from last summer. Just typing the now is making knots in my stomach.

I keep repeating "Silkie, Silkie, Silkie" in a chance to avoid the incubator anxiety attack. But I know, I will not be able to resist.

Thanks for all of your support!!!

But, I have to admit - as the day progresses, it's getting worse!!

Good thing that I work at home - although I'm not getting much done today.

And on Sunday - I'm starting a new batch in my second bator.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!!??!!!!!!???!! HA!!!!
