Since this is my first hatch I was wondering how do you clean your incubator when your done? Do you use disinfectant to clean or just hot water? I didn't know if I should use a disinfectant cause of the fumes.

As for my first hatch we ended with 14, 1 fatality out of the egg, and 5 eggs didn't hatch. So alll and all I think we did pretty good!!!! Going to set another batch on Sunday waiting on some Cochin eggs from my neighbor.

I use a bleach solution to disinfect. Leave it on for about 20 minutes then rinse it very well, a few times, and let it air dry.
