I'm shopping for my first incubator and have found the following online:
Option 1: New Hova-Bator Incubator 1602N & 1611 Egg Turner $86.50 (shipping cost included).
Option 2: New Hova-Bator Genesis 1588 & 1611M Egg Turner $180.00 (does not include shipping).
Being that I'm a newbie I'm having difficulty deciding if it's worth $100 more for the Genesis.
Thoughts? Advice?? Thanks.

I need more info.. the model number means nothing unless we have a reference of some kind..

what you want in a bator is a fan, thermostat and turner..
the turners listed are identical..

Do each of these have all of these features? then there isn't much difference in the two.. maybe window size ??

Go with the Genesis 1588! You will be glad you did!! The factory pre-set temperature feature is well worth the extra money!! Myself and others I know have had great hatches in them

i was recently in the same situation.... I ended up getting the reptipro 5000 with an egg turner from ebay... it cost a total of $200 with a turner and shipping included. I just had my first hatch and considering i had no experience, it came out great! i did get an internal hydrometer when lockdown came.... out of 13 eggs that were shipped during a snow storm, i got 5 chicks so far. it has a light built in and it is a nice looking unit, cause ihave it in my dining room! much luck to u!

I forgot to say that I bought my Genesis 1588 from Cutler Supply online for $158.70 which included the 1611 turner. Priority mail to California was $37.50, but if you don't mind waiting a little longer you can choose UPS ground for $23.50.
