Hi forum

i am currently building a cabinet incubator i wanted to ask should should the fan be wired direct so its on all the time or should i wire it with a switch?
Also i want to wire the temperature probe to the heat controller under the middle tray of eggs is this advisable???
i will have 3 trays of eggs going in i thought 20cm between trays would be enough space is this ok??

any advice given would be brilliant.

regards

tony

In my experience, the fan needs to stay on constantly.
I would think the temperature probe needs to be somewhere around the middle shelf. If you placed it in the top shelf, then the bottom shelf would be a few degrees cooler than the top.
20 cm sounds great.
