Dude, I've been doing this over a year. I just have a random problem with my incubator. I didn't mean anything serious was wrong.I see in another thread you have a hatch going on now. I hope you read and understand the role of temperature and humidity. Without it you are putting yourself on a path to bad hatches no matter what incubator you use. Good luck to you.
1) Did you calibrate your thermometer? You just got a thermometer to fit in there. I don't think you calibrated it to be honest.
2) What temp did you incubate at? No answer.
3) Did you calibrate your hygrometer? You dont have one.
4) What humidity did you use until day 18? You dont have a hygrometer.
5) What humidity did you use after day 18? You dont have a hygrometer.
6) Is a vent open? No answer.
7) Did you manually turn the eggs 3-5 times per day? I guess this is yes.
8) Did you candle the eggs or keep track of their weight? No clear answer, Which one?
Did the thermometer you put in there agree with the thermometer on the incubator? You did say no they didn't agree which is not a good sign.
Which thermometer did you put in there? No answer.
1) Is this the first time you tried to hatch anything? No answer.
2) Are you eggs fertile? You said you have a rooster.
3) Did you get any chicks to hatch or did they all fail? No answer.
It's a random problem with this incubator because I've not used it.Well you couldn't clearly answer most of my questions so I'm not too sure about that. Can't help if no feedback.
If you've been having batch hatches for over a year, then that isn't just a random problem.
