incubator, have you ever seen or used one like this?

    i went to a friends house and they said they had an incubator! whooo hoooo! now does anyone know anything about it? im not sure how old it is, what it needs or what to do with it, besides add eggs...lol any help would greatly be appreciated

    It looks like a lab incubator for culturing bacteria an whatnot.

    You can make the work with eggs though.

    Yup, Precision makes labratory incubators, but I bet you can Mod it for eggs [​IMG]

    some egg turners, some pans for water, calibrate your hygrometer and you're all set for eggs...


    check out the DIY incubator section for some ideas...

    thanks, it goes up to 70 celsius so about 158 degrees Fahrenheit. hot...lol im going to try to convert it and add egg turners to it. im just really not good at stuff like that, trying to find a list of things i need and hopefully its not tooo hard. im reading about it now:) keep fingers crossed for me

    yeah, make a check list... if you aren't sure, put it on here, and we'll let you know... you're gonna need to make holes for vents too... i don't think those have them... also, holes to put more water in the pans... that will make a very good incubator... get two egg turners and one shelf can be a hatcher...


    gotta look on craigslist for one now...

    question, since it has a temp gage, do i still need a themastat?
