X2 . I would think if its designed to grow cultures , it would have excellent works built right in to set and maintain temeratures and humidity . Great find !

If you're not handy at knocking things together , or just want to save time , the manufactured auto turners are not all that expencive , if they will fit .

thanks. i will look up egg turners now

depending on the size, i don't think a PC fan would do much in it... get the smallest multi speed fan you can find... find out where the heat comes from, and make sure the air will blow from the heating element/source to the rest of the incubator... i'm sure it doesn't need the fan, but that way it heats up quickly when you open and close the door... in my fridge-bator, i have two very strong fans... they're PC type, but 110V... they are for metal halide light fixtures that get very hot for reef aquariums...

also, on the vent holes, i used 1/2" PVC and have four 1/2" PVC end caps... two of them are drilled but i never used them... the fans blow the air hard enough past the heating element to make a difference for my giant vents...

i hope this helps...
