Yeah, that's definitely higher. That's not reading right. I can run my LG- it's fan forced at 80-90% without condensation.yeah. they reader on the top is showing 40%.. but it does look higher.

Good luck tell me how it goes..
Almost everyone I know that has the 9300 has to set the bator 2-3 degrees higher (at least) to get the inside temps right. Sad, but true. And some have accurate hygrometer readings others can't go by it at all.I have had incubator up for 2 hours. No eggs just turner in it. Temp flat on turner.
My spot check is telling me temp in bator is 97.4. Digital indicator on bator is 99.5 setpoint.
I trust my spot check so I would raise my set point on the incubator to 101.5 to 102.
That seem to coincide with some on other threads that need to adjust up 2 or 3 degrees to get desired temp.
That should get 99.5 at the. Top of the eggs.
Will leave it on all night and check in the morning.
This is what I have found so far.
I hope that some of this helps to get you to have a successful hatch.
I don't trust any of them...lol But I monitor my air cells so they are only a guidline anyway...lol I actually prefer my non digital 9200. I don't have to worry about the incorrect displays...lolMy humidity indicator is reading 45 dry. On the 10300 lg.
My 1588 and brinsea are reading 23 and 25 dry.
I believe the 1588 and brinsea are closer. But don't trust them all fully.
After running bator all night. At 99.5 sepoint. Spot check was 97.0 this morning.
So I moved setpoint to 103. Now my spot check is reading 99.4 at the bators temp indicator.
That's the temp I want.
So I will leave it at 103.
ok... I will bump it up bit on the temp.. I have 6 eggs in there now.. all of the last batch died.. so I am starting again with just a few... I need to go get some more temp gauges and humidity ones also.. I have just a tiny bit of water in that big unit and it is telling me that the humidity is 70%.. I am about to take this thing back.. seems broken.. :/I have had incubator up for 2 hours. No eggs just turner in it. Temp flat on turner.

Well I had 4 eggs in there and kept the humidity a tad on the lower side around 45-50%.. I have been candeling them daily and they have all been very active and growing.. one egg was more developed then the rest I could tell by how much chick was there. I just checked them and was going to candle them and the larger one is 25% broken out of the egg her beak is out and she is peeping and trying to move.. but I am afraid that it is to soon for her.. when I took a closer look at her it looks like she might not have her sack all the way in.. I can not tell for sure but it is preaty moist in there still.. should I just raise the humidity up for her and let her work her way out the rest of the way or should I give her a bit of a hand? do I need to give her water while she is trying to get out?Sounds good.
I have a 9300 now as well.
Had to set temp to 103 on bator as well.
Never trust gauge on for humidity on bator. Even my higher priced bators are wrong.
That's why I found dry incubation works for me. I don't add water til day 18.
Let us know how it goes.
Gonna try my 9300 as a hatcher only. Since I'm setting weekly.
