Incubator Help Needed

Hi. I have model 1582 Hovabotor incubator that I have been hatching coturnix quail eggs with. I have hatched 1 batch per month for the past year. Just lately I cannot get the temperature above 90 degrees farenheit. I tested the thermometer in another incubator and it works fine. l I do not use a turner. Does anyone have any advice, or know what the problem is? All replies are greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I would guess the thermostat is shot.

No eggs in there now. Is a broken thermostat common, and replacable, or have I over-used it?

It might be just the wafer.

The Thermostat complete cost about $20. there are many on ebay or you can order directly from GQF

I had a thermostat go south too in two of my Hova-Bators. I changed the wafer first and it didn't make any difference. I had a couple of extra thermostats from my Sportsman when we converted it over to a digital thermostat. I would replace the thermostat.
