I have a LG Still Air incubator. We have a cpu fan sitting on the wire blowing the air into the bottom. The fan is in the corner where the warning label is. The eggs are in the center. Will the vibrations from the fan hurt the eggs. We have two thermometers the one on top of eggs is reading 99. The one sitting on the wire is reading 98. Our humidity is at 32. I know the temp sould be 99.5 is that at top of eggs or bottom? I have 11 eggs in at day 2 should I take the fan out or leave it in? I know how to install fan the right way but dont know what to do with eggs while incubator needs to be unplugged.

I don't think the vibrations would hurt the eggs. my fan is at the top of the incubator blowing on the roof of it ware the thermostat and heater is. i have a hova bator and am using a PC power source fan. the temperature needs to be taken on top of the eggs.

I need to know if I need to drop my humidity. I candled three of the eggs and didnt see a airsac. 2 of the eggs went in on monday at 9:30 pm. The third egg went in on tuesday at 3:00 pm. My humidity has been running around 30 to 40 percent. Should I leave it alone and wait till day 7 like I was supposed to? I weighed them all before setting them. Didnt check all the eggs or weigh them again. I know the eggs are fresh because they are all from our chickens. The five that went in on monday were from last week. The six that went in on tuesday were collected over last weekend.

i read somewhere that vibrations can do good.
as for moving the eggs, place them under a hot bulb and do the job quickly :)

I think 30 - 40% should be good i think my air sacks look OK, I'm on day 8, i had about 50% humidity until a couple days ago when i opened a small vent then it dropped down to 35% (didn't have it opened before because thought the eggs would cool down) make sure you increase it for the hatch.

I candleed five of my eggs today. They are on day 14. I have movement in 2. One is just kinda bouncing around but the other looks like its in there kickboxing. I get to check my other 6 tomorrow cause they are a day behind. I cant wait untill tomorrow.
